Team Leader – Debt Management – Creditor Services

Our Client, based in central Manchester, is arguably the UK’s largest debt solutions Group and boasts to having assisted over 250,000 to remediate their debt problems. As a result of their continued success, an additional Team Leader is now required for their creditor services department where payments to creditors are negotiated and formalised on behalf of our extensive consumer client base.

The role holder will be responsible for 10 customer service advisers and will report directly to the Head of Customer Service. A Team Leader will lead, guide, train, coach, manage (people & performance) and motivate a team to exceed KPI’s for output, maintaining relationships with creditors (usually credit card catalogue, store card and loan / banking providers) and completion of creditor agreements. The team will perform both online and off-line functions and manage all creditor activity relating to the debt management program.

The ideal candidate will have debt management industry experience and will have previously operated in a similar role preferably within a financial services environment. Applicants will possess proven people and performance management skills and a track record of meeting objectives in a contact centre environment.

The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of £19,000-21,000with bonus opportunity in line with company performance.
